I bought a used set of heads the other day, and took them to get remachined, you know the usual, 3 angle valve job, resurfacing, yadda yadda.
I was told the springs that were on there were 918, but the machine shop has a specification guide and they don't seem to match up. I was wondering if anyone knew what springs came on the heads from RPM, or if these had been upgraded somewhere else.
I can easily tell they are beefier than stock springs, but I need to know if they can handle a 218/226 .500 lift cam.
O and about the heads, they had shot valves and such, right now I'm in a predicament involving the lash caps, but I think Harland Sharp is helping me out with it.
