I tested my stock torque converters stall speed by putting it in second at a dead stop and flooring it.

It only stalled to like 2300-2400.

Wondering if anyone else gets the same results?

That's not the stall speed, that's the flash speed, and it's right where it should be.

ok thanks......so with a 4000 stall where would it flash too?

would it flash to 4k or more like 3600?

It depends on various thing's inside the converter, but thinking of 3600, and you are on the right track. The only way you will ever see a converter's stall speed is with a transbrake.
