Anyone using a powerdyne have belt squeaking issues?

My 94 GT has a powerdyne charger on it and since I had the car for about a year now the belt squeaks all the time. The charger belt does not squeak at all just the main drive belt. The tensioner is an adjustable unit. The main drive belt that was on there was a little big. I bought a gatorback belt a few sizes smaller and tightened up the tensioner. And the belt still squeaks everytime I start up the car, either hot or cold it squeaks for about a minute and goes away. When I drive the car the belt does not squeak but sometimes if I turn on the AC it squeaks. I looked over everything, the belt and tensioner are both tight, pulleys look good. The belt squeaking is annoying and I don't know what else to look for? Any ideas or suggestions? Anyone here using a powerdyne that have problems with belt squeaking?

i've been around 20 or so powerdyne kits over the years and have yet to hear one squeak


check the accessory pullies for end play, especially the tensioner.

I checked the tensioner pulley and there is very slight up & down movement on the pulley. I checked the pulley bolt and it is tight, so then it must be the bearing that is going bad.
