Anyone with 99-04 rearend

Has anyone here swapped there rearend for a 99-04 rear. Is it just a simple swap or is there some fabricatiing that I will have to do? Also, how much wider are the 99-04 rearends? Thanks

94-98- 29 31/32 and 99-04- 30 11/16

it should bolt in just fine, but itll stick out just a bit as if you had wheel spacers, but why would you swap em, its the same rear end but a tad bit wider, is yours just completely shot and found this rear for cheap

ive actually heard that the housings for the 94-98 models is actually a tad bit stronger....but i have no idea if this is true or not, anyone else heard of this?

i used a late 80s Lincoln mark7 rear on my 94, it is wider then a 99-04 rear and it has the bigger cobra size brakes with a bigger caliper.
