Are these realistic goals?

I am putting to gether a 306 TW heads, B-31 cam or FTI (have not decided yet), ported cobra intake, 24-30lb inj, and the mods in my sig.

I am looking to get about 280hp 300tq to the wheels through the auto. I am hoping for 8.2-7.9's in the 1/8. Are these realitic goals for my combo with an auto vert?

What final compression are you looking at??

306ci
- 10:1 final CR with cc of heads
- Flat top SRP Forged Pistons (JE's budget pistons)
- I Beam Rods
- Stock Crank
- TFS Heads
- Cobra Intake
- 24's
- 75mm MAF
- FTI Cam

You'll be there, probably around 290-300 with a good tune.

What converter do you have?

I was leanig toward 9 to 1. I want to be able to put a blower on in about 6months to a year down the road.

I do not have a stall. I am not real sure i want one yet. This car will only see the track 2 -3 times a year. So it will be more of a street car.

I haven't been to the track with the new trans and converter yet.

I had the same setup in my 92 LX with a T5 and I went 12.80 I had a Crane 2031 cam though instead of stock.
