*Because* they're stamped steel, a ball-peen hammer was an effective "clearancing tool," but only for small adjustments.with the covers being stamped and so easy to get out of shape I can't imagine that clearancing them for rockers would help much. I also wondered about the breather.
Small world! I’m in Cali also(near Camarillo), I’m having the same engine work being done(by L&R Engines in Santa Fe Springs via Full Throttle Kustomz in Fillmore) and with the same Cali restrictions! ‘95 Cobra, 91k, original 4.0 block
Update: They had her on the dyno today, and I was told the numbers over the phone (276 whp 315 tq). Kinda wanted to break the 300 whp mark but oh well.
