Okay first things first i have a 1995 sapphire blue mustang GT...5.0 of course ...my car is all stock except for full bassani exhaust (headers, x pipe, high flow cats, dual chamber mufflers for now and 2 1/2 in. bassani pipes...my best run was a 14.7 @ 97.82 mph...my 60' was a horrible 2.43 due to my blown rear(spinning one wheel) and 2.73 rear gears...i am going to have a new traction lock rear and 4.10's installed soon and just wanted to kno what u guys think i could run then?

oh and i ran the 14.7 @ 97.82 on 275 street tires...sumitomo's lol

If you ever feel like your times arent good enough, bring it to a high altitude track (ahem, Albuq) and run it. Adds about a full sec onto your ET :crying:

If you run 14.7 now with a 2.4 60' and you step up to 4.10s and get a sub 2.0 60' (like you should) then I could see a 13.9-14.3. That is my guess.

almost 98mph trap is good for 13s with a good launch, you might loose some top end w/ the 4.10 gears, but you'll gain a lot off the line, make sure you put some grippy tires on there and get your diff fixed :thumb:

I would do 3.73's....much better all around gear. After you start adding more power, 4.10's are going to be obnoxious.

Since your already replacing the gears, might as well do a 31 spline swap, get some DR's and you should be able to pull a 1.9 with no suspension work and some decent driving. Do the math -.5 sec 60' = a good .7 or so overall, so id say 14.0 with a 1.9 60'. Last time at the track i ran a 14.5 2.3 60' with exhaust and cai. Now i have DR's, battery relocation, and some weight reduction. Im waiting for Moroso to reopen so i can see some 13's.

hey nice car, mine is a saphire blue too!!! i would say about a 14.1 around 99mph

i got a 355 gear, h pipes, king cobra clutch, c&l 76mm, 65mm throttle body, pulleys, msd ignition, cobra intake, 1" spacer, 1 5/8" shorties, flowmasters, short throw shifter, and ran a 14.0

yea hell never see 13's with his set up.. even with 4.10s.. go with 3.73's you like em much better im pulling 1.98 60ft's on street tires. with almost the same set up as the guy above me...
