Autometer water temp sending unit

I wanted to make sure that the computer does not rely on the temp sending unit on the drivers side of the engine. Eventually I will get a new water neck that is tapped for a sending unit, but until then the idiot gauge can go(if it is not necessary for the computer.

the one on the drivers side is just for the guage.

Yep, you're fine.

Alternatively, you can just drill/tap your water neck for 3/8" NPT if you want both.
