I remember a while back I was looking for a certain Mustang part and someone provided a back door into a Ford parts web page. It was a page by Ford. Does anyone know how to get there?

Thats not like ford at all. At work I use CPD, I have to know base part numbers. It's a pain but it's nice to walk into a junkyard, see a module sitting in a car and can know what it is and what it goes to.

GDawg, what part? I just bought brand new well moldings for my 95 Convertible. Maybe I know of where to find it @.

Let's see if I can describe it... Remember, this is for a convertible SN95. When you open the door, on the body part of the door frame at the top rear portion there is a rubber piece that has four plastic plugs in it.

As soon as I can recharge some batteries, I'll take a picture of the one remaining one that is still on the car.

Dang, I know I'm not very smart. I don't even have my car to look on to compare what you described! I have no clue what you are saying. I have the same car, so I was hoping I might know. Sorry dude, I need a pic though. I was kinda hoping it was included in the well molding pieces. The part that I needed is.

So here's some pictures of what I'm talking about...

First pic is of the rubber piece on the driver's side. I've lost that one before.

Now I've lost it on the passenger side... go figure.

you might be able to use a hard top piece, and cut it. it looks the same (to me anyways) as the bottom part of the same piece as my coupe.
and just for giggles sake, when you said "back door", i thought this thread was headed in the wrong direction. haha

I have a guy I type with that works for 50resto. I sent him the pics and asked if he has it. You might be better looking @ a salvage yard.

I'm sure a junkyard would have it, it doesnt seem like one of those things people would get...

$18.95!!! I don't remember paying that much for that small piece of rubber. I'll have to go to a junk yard.
