I sold the cobra a few months back. The new buyer made me a offer I couldn't refuse. The car was shipped off to Ohio. He has since ran a 10.9@129MPH. Yeap, it was a beast. I never got it to the track. I just got burnt out on the track in my younger years. Don't really have the body to work on cars anymore. Matter of fact, Air Foce is putting me through a medical board to see if I will retire early.
This was by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I owned this car 6 1/2 years. Longest I have ever owned a car. I never thought I would sell, but the new Shelby GT500 is too tempting for me to pass up. Plus, I could get this car and it would be fast out of the box and I wouldn't have to worry about working on it. If it breaks down, I take it to the dealer under warranty.
I tried more than 20 dealers and couldn't get one at MSRP in and around my local area. Most dealers wanted $10K-$20K over MSRP. People said it couldn't be purchased at MSRP, but I am here to tell you, it can. I had to go out of state to Kansas to get the car, but for a $400 "Courtesy Delivery Fee", it was delivered right to my local dealer here in Utah. Much cheaper than me flying there and driving back 20 hours. Matter of fact, my buddy that works at the local Ford Dealership here personally took delivery of the car for me and got it prepped.
Here are the specs:
2013 Shelby GT500
Grabber Blue w/Black Stripes
Performance Package
Navigation System

Few newer pictures with tint:
Car is a beast on the streets. I have about 600 miles on it right now. Not too many plans for motor mods as I don't plan on tracking it anytime soon. I am going to put a carbon fiber inlet tube on it with a resignator delete (so I can hear the blower a little more). I will then take some pictures of the motor.
