Bad Gas Mileage???

I've notice i've been getting pretty bad gas mileage it seem like im getting 10mpg and my gas hand seem like it never stops moving. I have a bad o2 sensor on the left side of my LT headers and im assuming this why not to mention i have 3.73 gears. So my question is does your o2 sensor affect gas mileage that much??

Yes it can. 10 mpg sounds a bit extreme but yea. The ECM relys heavily on the O2's A/F signals. Go ahead and replace both of the upstream O2's and clean the MAF sensor & such. The O2's are really only good for about 80 to 100K.

+1 even though 02s are expensive you'll get it back in the money your losing in gas

Yeah i already have 02 sensors it just on my Lt headers where the sensor go my tranny is in the way and i cant screw the thing in gotta get the hole rewelded/relocated but man its affecting my mileage bad
