So yesterday morning i was driving home from my buddies house at about 8 in the morning because i had to work at 1230. I had stayed up all night and hadnt got any sleep so i was going to go home and sleep for a few hours before i went to work. Well that didnt work out, i was dosing off while driving which deffinitly isnt a good thing and instead of pulling over to try and wake up I went off the road and through a fence and then swerved back across the other side of the road. Thank god I didnt hit anyone else and the damage could be much worse but im still pretty mad at myself. I dont have any pictures but my front bumper is really messed up (scratched, dented and paint is bad) and both of my front fenders are dented pretty bad and need paint. on top of that my passenger side skirt was ripped right off of the car and my exhaust is really bent and misshaped. I also snapped my driver side tie rod and i think thats about it. So I know im going to need 2 new fenders, a bumper, and a side skirt. hopefully the exhaust can be re-bent and isnt to bad but im not sure about that yet. so as far as advice should i order these parts new or go to a junkyard??? and since im going to need the bumper, and fenders repainted anyway should i just repaint the whole car? i was considering that anyways because the paint isnt bad at all but there are a few spots where its chipped and could start to rust soon. Im considering getting a cobra bumper and painting the mirrors as well. what do u guys think?

If insurance is paying, go out and hit it with a hammer a few times. Make sure you get your paintjob covered haha

um yeah i only had plpd so insurance is out of the question which sucks. and believe me if i did have full coverage i probably would follow through with the hammer idea haha but yeah this repair is all gonna be money out of my pocket ;(...i guess im just not sure if its time for me to just fix it up and sell it so i can get a truck or something to drive in the winter or fix it up and upgrade it in the process with a cobra bumper, and new paint. i have no idea what im going to do as of now

Cobra bumper and get full coverage =[ I can tell you.. it might be more $$ a month, but god if something terrible happens... you get some back instead of $0.

i made the mistake of letting someone drive mine like 3 blocks down the road and they drove through a fence as well. gave me an excuse for a full exterior restoration. upgrade it and get whatever parts you really want on it now so you don't have to go back and make redundant purchases. on a side note i painted my mirrors and am very pleased with the results.

craiglist is your friend. is the car still driveable or is the bumper and fenders impacting your front tires?

I popped a curb years ago and busted a tie rod, thought that was it. Then had my body guy double check it, here the frame got torque a bit. Had to put it up on the rack to fix it. Take it to a shop before you get much farther into this. You never know what a trained eye will find.

good luck man.
