Turn out it was the pitted header causing the leak.

bad news: The car is gone..
started on fire.

Stopped on me while i was test driving it. Ran outta gas because it was near empty.
Ran to the station for more gas.
Came back and re-fuled it. The car wouldnt turn over so i kept cranking and whoosh the engine bay near the fuel lines would up in flames.
Next thing i know the whole car is on fire. Its gone guys :angry4:

I dont know what to do now.. really im just gonna finish crying and accept whats done. I will not be working on any other car i get... this puts the straw in the hat. I give up. My new stang i will be taking to a mustang shop. :crybaby2:

Mines insured through grundy for 40k, I'm just hoping for a fire.

My dad said he'll help look for another stang.. maybe even a newer model. Its just i dont want a newer model.. guess ill look into a 94-98 Cobra.

=[ I loved my car.. was my 1st car at that.

Fucking $330 down the drain so quick for that pi intake kit... Shit was my fault.. i did everything carefully which fixed my leaks perfectly, but i guess i fucked up something with the fuel lines

How old are you? That sucks even more that it was your first car/mustang. To say your first car was a Mustang GT is something....

that does suck. Was the fire contained under the hood or did it spread?
lets just say i left my car with the top latched and up. When everything was done... the top was gone.. the seats was foamy looking. The hood was crumbled up. The front windshield was gone... the rear window was gone...It spreaded like wild fire for some odd reason.

And to think i finally got the pi intake installed and working perfectly with no leaks after dropping money for tools and a new waterpump/coolant.

and yep its all my fault.

To pour salt in my wound .. they shoved up the glass and **** from my car and tossed it right in the back seat from the rear of the car.
