Balancer or somthing else?

I've had this problem for a while but now I want to fix it if I can. When my car is running in nuetral I rev it up slowly and I get vibration through the wheel at various rpms, not terrible but noticable.The higher I rev it goes away, just in the lower band is where I notice it. I have the piggy back style UD pullies could this throw the balacer off? Do these balacers go bad cause it looks solid to me with spots drilled for balance. I really started to notice this when I installed my polly mounts. Any thoughts?

I think your OK. You feel more vibs because of the poly mounts. Nature of the beast.

I just took the balancer off and I do see the rubber ring in there. It looks like its in good shape and has not seperated. Do these motors just vibrate through the lower rpms?

What would a slightly bent rod feel like? I know im perinoid.

The piggy back style UD's have been known to make vibration. Enough that they cause oil pump gear failure.

I'm thinking about putting it back to stock and seeing if that makes a diff. I really think UD pullies are a waste anyway.

If you are that wooried about it, get a fluid filled damper. They are 100% better than what is on the car.

The vibe isnt really that bad its just there ya know. I'm just gonna live with it cause i'm not dropping 300 bones on a good damper. I've heard from others vibe is normal with polly mounts.

you will definitely feel more with them. I'll be swapping them in myself next time the engine comes out.

Yea they are alot better than the factory mounts. They were a pain to install though. I installed my LT headers by dropping the K and found out I needed to replace the mounts but couldnt afford it. Two weeks later the K came back down to install the mounts, this time in my garage floor. More time consuming than difficult though.
