The exhaust will fit but technically you wont be able to use the tailpipe hangers on a 98-04 car. I think that's all Tally was saying.
Actually i have taken a 03 and a 04 Gt exhaust and everything was the same onto my old 94 GT. All they did was weld the mufflers back to the OTA pipes where it was cut.
Will need to change hangers or tips.
I'd buy if it didn't have to be cut. Free bump for a good deal.
Tips will not need to be changed....Hangers wouldn't either i don't think as i put a 03 and a 04 Gt exhaust on my 94.
Getting cut is the only thing bugging me too. But who knows
Which exhaust do you know that doesn't have to be welded back together? You could use the original supplied Clamps but there inferior to welding. Now the new clamps that are coming on the Newer 2011+ Mustangs the clamps work great...if you get mufflers put on your car and keep your tailpipes what do you think they do?? put it together with pixie dust??
If your a good welder the cutting shouldn't really be an issue, especially for the price
exactly cutting shouldn't be an issue especially if you can weld if not you will be pay someone competent to do it. This way i have it now i am giving the Buyer the option on where he wants it cut which in my eyes is a major +
