I want to beef up my rear suspension. Heres what i want to do. upper/lower control arms, mmr coil overs, comp eng 3 ways. Also put in a new tranny mount bc the stocker is pretty worn. pinion snub as well while im down there.

How much of a difference should i be expecting as far as laying down power? Bone stock motor by the way. Only mods intake exhaust and 4.10 gears and about 300 lb weight reduction. For smoother shifts i also put in a quick release quadrant, firewall adjuster, pedal stop and tri ax shifter which i was excited about so i thought i should share

Basically im asking if it will be worth the 600 bucks im dropping into it, or should i just skip the suspension and buy a nitrous kit

Upper and lower control arms are good idea. They will be the largest factory in satisfactory acceleration in-conjunction with more negative pinion angle you should be fine. The Stock Shock/spring setup in the rear is awesome in these cars. When you go to coil overs you add a lot more to the rear of this car and with that said, anything substantially less simple, has a great possibility of becoming a cluster. The NMAR car I work on went from stock rear to Coil overs this past year with the addition of a few other parts, and it has taken almost a full year to get this car really where it wants to be, and now its going from a Modular Muscle car to a Drag Radial car..whole different ball game.

Basically what I'm saying, for the HP your running for how your going to use use the car and drive it. Keep the stock rear configuration and run it. You can get the Strange 10ways, and a good spring in the back, hell I have a bout 4 different sets of springs and always looking for more for different things to try.

If your doing this for the "i have a cobra so I'm super cool and on top of that I have coil overs in the Rear" effect, go for it.
