i have the keyless entry and im not sure if that is part of a factory alarm because there is a disconnected siren under my hood.. anyway i hear a beeping that im thinking is part of the keyless system while im driving and also when the car is shut off and locked. it happens every 15-20 mins, it goes trough a cycle of beeps for about 20 seconds then stops....any clues why this is happening and where it is coming from??

I have the factory keyless on my '98, and it doesn't beep at all (except if you push the Lock button a couple of times, it gives the horn a quick beep). Only thing that happens on mine is it turns on the interior lights when you hit Unlock, or if you use it to open the trunk. Parking lights don't even flash, but not sure if that's normal or not.
