It's not in the transmission, after hearing some videos on YouTube im beginning to think it a piston slap... If this is the case I honestly don't know what im going to do, I almost want to give up on the car if it's in the motor.
You guys take a look at the video again and tell me what you think.
Sure would be nice to have my F150 back right about now..

Don't run the car, fix the clutch and then worry of the noise is still there

If you think its motor related

I think you should pull off the valve covers. I had a horrible ticking similiar to that and it ended up being one of my rocker arms somehow came loose and slipped off. The valve covers arent too bad to take off and atleast a good place to start figuring out whats wrong.

Well see I got under the car today and let it idle and pulled the shield off and the only thing I saw was the clutch fork vibrating quite a bit. But im just really REALLY hoping it's not fatal because I cannot afford it right now.
Im having a mechanic come out on Friday and he is suppose to replace the clutch cable and fork, I think before he does any of that im going to have him dig around and diagnose it.

How bad is ithe clutch fork shaking? It could be a broken input shaft guide tube aka throwout bearing retainer sleeve. If its bouncing up and down violently enough to be heard over the running engine thats my bet. Also mine made my clutch pedal shake, but i have a aftermarket adjuster/quadrant. Vids!

I uploaded a video on our Facebook group page

I commented bro. Also don't forget to check the vids i linked to when you get a chance. If the tob sleeve is broken you will be able to move the fork up, down, and side to side and it will cause the rattling. If thats the case, your gonna have to pull the trans again and press out the old one and press in a new one. The t45source sells them, but they are getting hard to find elsewhere.

No offense to you all facebookers. But cmon, upload the video to a real site and share the links appropriately. You're missing out on people willing to help. I had a noise I was sure what clutch/tranny related before, then the engine let go a month later at piston #8. Just saying.

Kinda hard to do that when your only internet access is your phone... Otherwise I would.
If someone would be willing to post the video im here for those who don't have a Facebook then by all means post it but I don't have the capabilities.

Its not likely the fork. It wouldnt rattle like that by itself imo. Its either the tob retainer sleeve, or possibly the pivot stud isn't adjusted correctly. But follow the vids i listed and you should be able to definitely identify a broken tob retainer sleeve, or rule it out depending on the movement of the clutch fork.

The problem is that if you have the clutch adjusted tightly against the tob(as your vid appears jones) then the rattle will mostly be hidden, if you detach the clutch cable the rattle will be even more violent and the clutch fork will be rattling up and down like a mofo if its the tob retainer sleave thats broken.

Took me forever to diagnose mine, i hope yours is something simple.

I agree with you there I said in the other thread that it very well likely could be the bearing retainer

So I'm having the car hauled off to my buddies shop this week. Their gonna take care of her, gonna do the whole clutch assembly again as well as get a new clutch fork and clutch cable from LRS.
So another $500 out of pocket. Whoo...
