‘95 Cobra coupe with SVO supercharger that is currently being refreshed/rebuilt. The belts on the car “seem” ok, but I’m all about preventative maintenance and since I don’t know how long the current belts have been on, I’m thinking I should change them in conjunction with the revamped supercharger. Any recommendations? Also have a new alternator going in. Wondering if a new tension pulley wouldn’t be a bad idea either?

Tensioners are cheap and easy. Plus they’re notorious for getting loud as they get old.

Do it and don’t look back. [emoji38]

Goodyear gatorback, if still available was always a solid belt when I had my built super coupes. As I went up in boost they were the only ones that didn’t slip.
