My saleens were neglected by previous owner and I took some mothers polish and a rag to one by hand tonight. My fingers are killing me but I took a white oxidized look and gave it a mirror finish after 5 passes on the lip.

Im motivated to get these wheels shining like they should now with Mustang week on my mind I want the car to look decent.

Anything out there better then good ole mothers and a power ball?
What do you guys use?

go to harbor frieght and they have an aluminum polishing kit with the dry type (white/red) polishing compounds and a number of different buffing wheels that can fit in a drill.

also had good luck with this brand on my intake

Blue Magic is my favorite. Then follow that up with a good wax and sealant and you're good to go.

not sure you will really find much that works better then the dry buffing compounds that they have at harbor frieght honestly.

Years ago I had polished Faleens, I was ready to sell them just because they were such a pain to keep up then I found the power ball. To say the least it is worth every penny.

they got all ****ed up tho from the salt cuz i didnt seal and polish them.. im so upset. i gotta find some time to get to them again. =|

recomendations for removing some salt&hard spots on the face? when i washed the car they just wouldnt come off. just like when i got them only the polish removed them

wanted to know if i could do something other than brake cleaner on them again.. lol
