best stock 1/4 times?

What are some of your guys' stock 1/4 mile times with the 4.6? Just trying to get an idea of what a stock sn95 runs stock.. Thanks all!

Low 15's was the best i could get out of mine when it was new and basically stock.... but back in the mid 90's there wasn't much running faster except those damn Camaros. Now V6 Mommy Mobiles can turn 15's.

With some dr's, launching the shit out of it, someone could probably hit a high 13

I agree, mid 14s and possible high 13s(very high) if you can drive and launch the hell out of it. I would imagine that if everyone put a their money into the suspension instead of bolt-ons most of us could hit high 13s.

With A Bone stock 98 i went 15.2s with 2.3-2.2 60 foots
then with a Ebay cold Air for 40 bucks and a Free Set of 4.10 Gears i went 2.0 60 foot, 14.50s at 96 mph on sumitumo All seasons

NPI cars can run mid to high 13s with weight reduction and a propor suspension setup to launch the shit out of it and cut 1.6 60 foots.

But thats not really stock.


100% showroom stock down to street tires...low to mid 14s is about as good as it will get IMO

I did that. With coilovers, lakewoods, 4.10s, K&N, and an x-pipe, on drag radials, I ran 13.9-14.2 with a 1.7? to 1.82 60'. Its kinda funny, car launches and then everybody accuses you of sandbagging. :dunno:

Haha, that thing probably hauls ass for about 300 feet.

Theres a perfect example of working with the power you have.

I bet if you do a Pi swap you could hit 12s.

yea i have cut 1.6 60's for my 13 second passes... turns out that the car comes out hard... but then slows down about the 1/8 mile. 80 MPH in the 1/8 and 100 in the 1/4

why do you say that? nope havent snapped any axles yet. But i have the 31 spline mosers in the garage.

Thats a 1.8 60' not the typical 1.7 or the occasional 1.6 that i cut.

Thats wierd...I always heard that a couple launches like that on the stock axles and they will snap.

Guess the stock axles arent that weak after all?
