Well I've been looking around for another company besides thump racing because I find that price outrageous...
I just need something that will prevent the belt slip from my shift kit..
Thanks for any help

Hmm that's not good..well is there an OEM style one that seems to hold up well?? Or maybe I should just get an inch shorter belt?

like you said you could always go with a shorter belt. But I personally own a Thump Racing tensioner and theres a reason it is the price it is...its the best out there

Both the belt that was on my car and the GY one I replaced it with at 97.5", not sure if that is what you consider a 98" belt but this size works perfect and is silent on my car

Tensioners have a solid pressure.....they don't increase or decrease depending on movement.....so a shorter belt isn't gonna change anything if you're having a tension problem
