i saw a good deal for some used 30lb injectors but i was wondering if it would even be worth it?

i have a remanifactured 98 cobra motor. stock headers, o/r-h , flows, and a custom intake, thats it. in the near future i plan on installing a wet nitrous kit and spraying maybe a 150 shot.

along with gears, sticky tires and a tune, that will hold me over until i get up the money to boost.

so what are the advantages of upgrading injectors on a bone stock motor(that will be sprayed soon)? and will the stock fuel pump be enough or would i need to upgrade?

Larger injectors are unnecessary on a stock motor, provided you are using a WET nitrous kit. A larger fuel pump is a good idea though to ensure you have sufficient fuel supply for the fuel solenoid.

i assume (key word) you will require a tune/chip/flash with a larger pump and/or bigger injectors.
not sure about it if you get a matching MAF????

the guy wanted 60 bucks but im not to sure he has them anymore and he hasnt answered my emails.

i just saw a set of 24lb injectors for 30 bucks here in the classifieds. im thinking of picking them up bc thats real cheap but again i dont want to get them for no reason.

ive always heard things like bigger MAF or TB really doesnt do SHt when it comes to adding HP on naturally aspired engines. so would these things along with bigger injectors actually make a difference with/without nitrous? id also like to pick up a set of longtubes.

Adding larger injectors doesn't do anything if you don't need them.

Buy the longtubes, and get full exhaust.

Probably, but it's irrelevant since he doesn't need larger injectors or a new MAF.

i was just asking for future referance.

i figure by the time he needs a bigger MAF and bigger injectors, he'll need a tune anyways...

thanks for the info.
