Black chrome SS inserts are on

I had a set of vinyl reflective bumper inserts that I put on the car this winter, they looked great

Now only a few months later I could already see peeling (yes I did prep the area with alcohol and installed in a 75 degree temp garage)

So off they came

New black chrome stainless inserts from http://www.stainlessbumperinserts.com/

Next to a quarter to show you the thickness

They came with 3M backing so it was a very easy peel and stick install, here is the finished product

Looks very good!! I bought SS ones & had them painted black for mine. Not as thick as yours, though. Good mod!

I'm sure they are superior quality compared to the vinyl. But they are definitely too thick and bulky for my taste. I would rather buy the decals and buy new ones as they "wear out".

10-4 on the bulkiness. Looks like you might trip over them if you walk behind your car.

I think they look good. Isn't it great how when you buy a new product for your car & a-holes bash it? I hate it when members do this!! I'm thinking you like it since you bought it! I guess being happy with a part not one of us chipped in to by is out of the question. This site helps me so much! I just get so tired of these replies.

You're more than likely right, I could have worded it nicer. I was thinking about "me" at the time and I was relieved someone else showed me that I didn't like it.

If no one offered criticism on this site...then what would be the point of posting anything? If everyone is going to say...looks great! Than why even bother...honesty is the best policy. IMO I think the bumper inserts look kinda bad...it might have something to do with how dull ur paint is...give that baby some love!

I like the fact that they are black chrome...but they are just too thick.

well i think they look pretty good. they are different. if i didn't i'd just say "they're not for me" or "I'm not feeling it" but definately not bash on anything else like the quality of the shine of your paint, or say now "now i know i won't be buying them".. common guys, there's ways to express your opinions without being rude. nuff said
