Thought you guys would like to see some pics. Detailed this car for 19cobra94 last week. Paint was in good shape, He's kept it in great condition, and super clean. Had a decient amount of swirl marks and lines from car washes (previous owner) did a 3 stage polish, final with PB EX Wax - love that stuff. Starting Polished 2x Ultra fine polished and sealed with EX
Looks great. I need to get a pc. Next paycheck im getting one. You have a lift in your garage? That must be nice
Haven't had it long enough to really see when it wears off. Supposed to last up to 6 months. i'll have to get back to you on that. It seems just as shiny as the Natty's!
I doubt you can get 6 months unless you have a garage queen, Ziano and the Klasse twins are the only 2 I know of can last 6months+ outside. I did a search on autopia.org and most are getting about 4 to 5 months depending on location. I'm going to test it on my roof hell right now I have Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant on the hood (so far 1 months and still going), I'll put EX on the roof and I have EX-P coming that will go on the trunk. That or I will split the roof or hood in 4 sections and test 4 products, from these test I'll see who is going to be my "summer/winter coat"
4-5 is pretty dang good. the bottle says "up to" 6 months. that will be interesting to see how they do on your car. Jim's car (pictured above) is garage kept, so I wouldn't be supprised if it lasts 6 or more. Keep the info coming! BTW you're white wheels are growing on me, they look NIICE.
All the online sealants I have say up to 6 months but the research I have done says other wise. So with all the sales I firgured why not see how long I can get out of them in SC weather. Sooner or later I won't be able to afford to buy detailing products at a whime so I better do it while I can afford too lol.
Sorry guys I have been out of town for the past week and a half. Jeff did an awesome job on the car, I could not be happier about the way it turned out. There is no substitute for a man who knows how to use his machine and his products. The poorboys stuff really impressed me. Thanks again Dalamar.
You're very welcome Jim. Hey - I'm putting the engine back in the car, tonight and into next week, if you wanna come over or give me a call Thanks yellowGT
