My buddys in high school gave that car its name only a couple of weeks after she brought it home. I did't like it back then but now it is cool.

haha it is cool. any idea where i could get one of these for my friends mom, she is super cool and ive known her a while she would really like this on her 03 6banger

No close ups, but its "tinted" as dark as i wanted it

that looks great how exactly did you do it?
also i like how your bumper says STANG. its unique, dont think ive ever saw it before
and your s281 wing looks great, people always suggest i get one, but i wanted to keep the stock look. yours is giving me second thoughts.

Mine is tinted with actual window tint. Its been on for two years and its still shiny. My buddy is a tinting guru so i dared him to try it, havent seen anyone else with a tinted ford logo since!

I actually have a vinyle cutter that could do it now but I am having problems with windows 7

oo ok i see so its a piece you customized yourself?

My brother was working at a sign place and had access at the time. I could do it off of my hardware/software if I could get everything to work with windows 7, just upgraded my laptop.

Mine is gone/debadged it.

I'm gonna do that too. I hate being a free billboard for major corporations. People already know that if its a Mustang it's a Ford. Looking at classic Mustangs, I don't see the blue oval logo... I wonder when they started badging cars with em...

On a side note, I've seen people put lights in the oval to make them glow when the headlights come on. A bit much for me, but looks sorta cool.

Heh, well, I also think the badge looks a bit out of place too. Almost as though it was tacked on the rear decklid as an after thought. No symmetry... nothing on the other side to even it out and its in a spot squashed between the license plate and taillight. I think Ford should have thought that out a bit better, but ohwell. Anyways, a custom logo is interesting. I like the pony and skull designs shown above. Especially the pony one.

i was going to try that link i posted in the first post, but the logo looks different. the clear stuff over it seems extra thick and seems like it wouldnt come off easy as they say. now im looking to have one custom made.
