meh, my car's pretty dirty from being in the shop for so long... she'll be ready for a good detailing by the time it's running again. On the upside I'm ready to start reassembly. finished up my intake this evening, hopefully everything else will go smoothly.

McCloud, looks awesome! I love the way it looks with the horse missing too. I used to rock my old 97 GT like that.

To the O.P. The paint looks great. You must be PUMPED. I love Vibrant Red. Any idea how many GTs were made in that color?

after my photoshop yesterday i went down to the store and found some flat black paint and decided to go ahead with the strip...my first time painting a big piece like that...came out a little tiger stripey (what do you expect from a rattle can) and found a good price on a wing and decided to go ahead and paint that as well.

I've always thought it would be cool to paint the spoiler flat like the old cars used to, good job man well done

BTW, I painted my spoiler flat black after seeing your car, and this weekend I am painting the center of my hood flat black. I wonder how it will look with the "nostrils" already painted black on a white car. :dunno:

Anyhow, your car looks amazing.

Well guys, this story is finished as told by me. Today Candi's new/old owner took her home.

I put the car up for sale and was contacted by an individual who was interested in the car. He took one look and realized that indeed this is his old car. We got to talking and sure enough it was his car two owners before me! He was excited to see how his car had transformed into what she is today. So with that being said I close a chapter in my Mustang book and move on! Never you fear, I will hang around but it will be awhile before you see me in a stang! My next stang is going to be that illusive pristine 1995 cobra hardtop convertible...the search is on!

here are some pictures from today the last day she was in my possession. I am going to link the owner to this thread see if I can get him to post more progress on candi. Its hard to see her go, but alas, it couldnt gone to a better person. Congrats Man!
