I was going to put this post/poll in the Detail section but it seems not be very active over there. I also thought that this was Def. Maintenance just not really mechanical.

I dont think anybody has posted one of these Polls before so I didnt search but sorry if its a repost.

O and please post a reply if you voted and include which surface area you selected and why. If you want you can talk about what product you used to maintain the surface area but thats optional.

Thanks Guys!

I voted rear bumper because It gets a beating from the sun! I noticed that many people with sn95 stangs have two curves at the top part of the rear bumper right under the rear license plate because of the sun baking on it.

The rear bumper also gets a beating from the rocks and dirt that gets kicked up from the rear tires. Also a lot of dirt builds up on it (you notice it right after you wash your car, first thing that gets dirty). Finally, I noticed that your exhuast builds a lil bit of a film on the bumper especially if you dont have cats.

i put roof.... the rest of the car can get some shade from the rest...

for example, if you park facing away from the sun, the front wont get hit.
if you park facing the sun, the rear wont get it.
etc. etc.

but the roof almost ALWAYS gets hit, while the rest can get some shade from the rest of the car...

i also take good care of the rear quarter pannels, because everything else can be replaced, but the rear quarter pannels and the roof are kind of a stick-with-what-you-got kinda thing...

Very true...that is a good point because the bumpers are a lot cheaper to replace than the roof or rear quarter panels...

BTW I just added headlights because on a lot of cars if you dont take care of the plastic/rubber on them they were deteriate very quickly. And this happens with aftermarket and stock.
