Bogging down???

Whenever my tires start spinning whether it be me trying to burn some rubber or when its rainy out.. my car boggs down.. i dont understand??? you would think if theres no resistance they would just spin right?

It's called traction control, push the pretty button to turn it off and you will see

traction control should be a little button under your radio, and a yellow light should come on when it bogs in the i/p
