Currently im drivin the v6, but im tired of it. Once my blower, cam, heads, and ported shit sells im buying parts for a 5.0 im picking up. Im going to run ported heads, trick flow upper and lower, e cam, rockers, and udps. What do you guys think i can put down with this and how hard is it to go from 95 v6 to 95 5.0?

My tuner is shooting for 350 to the wheels with it, which im happy with cause im not making that now lol.

That combo is good for somewhere around 290 to the wheels, and porting the heads is unnecessary with an e-cam.

If you stroke it you would most likley be able to reach 350hp to the wheels. But that will only up the cost.

yea its really a budget build for me... im trying to spend 2500 tops including price of engine. Any ideas on good hp combos?

It's going to be tought to build one for $2500. Perhaps the $700 budget shortblock from 5.0resto and $2500 TFS top-end kit from Summit might do the trick.

im doin a full swap, so basically im buying a whole car the trick flow kit with cam and rockers is 1300, which is why i was leaning towards that, but i didnt know if i could get beter with another set of mods
