I'm just going by the gains that i saw with some similar mods. I was at 203rwhp n/a with full bolt ons completely non pi. PI manifold added 30rwhp WITH A BLOWER. So say you see what, 15-20? Puts you in the 230-240rwhp range, being generous. So im just asking, you're trying to get 110-120rwhp with cams/heads?

I agree with you blownstanger...theres no way hes gonna hit 350 rwhp n/a without some serious heads, serious cams, and a serious intake...

Cams, heads and the one thing you are overlooking, compression

With my head cam combo, 100 hp gain is easily achieved. You add in compression that is a good 3 points higher than stock and that is gonna be roughly another 30 or so hp. Like I said earlier, my combo is not something that most folks would even consider streetable. It is gonna idle rough, my peak power is going to be around 7500 rpm's.

And by that point you dont have a streetable car. I mean yes it can always be done, but not for a car that you plan on actually driving. So as talked about earlier, why would you want an unreliable car when you can spend the same amount for a blower setup that will get you to point a and b as it would have without the blower and capable of maxing out your stock shortblock?

I swear... ya'll can't read or something. Where did I say I was going with just plain PI heads and PI cams? The PI intake will work with I am looking to do.

Yes it will be a streetable daily driven car with AC. Your definition of streetable and mine are obviously two different things. :nonono:

Well lets do the most reasonable thing and stop talking about "what you will make" and when the motor is actually done post up. Not doubting you im just saying a 350+rwhp n/a car is not easy to do and drive an hour with no problems.

and? Everyone's definition of streetable or not streetable is different. Having a big cam in a car doesn't make it not streetable. My car will still have AC and heat.

I know of some 700 rwhp streetable car's too, they run on pump gas, pass our Echeck, and prowl the streets every Friday and Saturday night.

Nothing really unstreetable about 12.5: C/R, it's just that the 80's brainwashed everyone into thinking anything more than 9:1 was alot.

Most modern performance engines come stock with at least 10.5:1, many are in the 11:1, 11.5:1 range. Knock sensors rule.

I called a local guy for a core for him and got pretty discouraged, it turned into a whole thing. Guy runs a salvage yard, don't know what the hell a 4r70w is :wall:
