Just bought it, 1994, 5spd, 48k miles, loaded, everything stock except it has been lowered.
Springs are from a company called "Suspension Techniques" have box and part #. Anyone heard
of them? Is it too low? Have original springs also. Where are the bump stops? I don't see any.
It rides terrible, but car is mint. I love the look, but can't drive it much longer like this. :crying:

Never heard of them.

I would look into new shocks/struts and I would probably look for a new set of springs. I would invest in a good quality set like Eibach or H&R etc..

The springs might not be bad but if you're running the stock struts it could be causing a less than ideal ride. If everything is installed correctly you won't be able to see the bump stops just by looking, they are around the strut piston up inside the dust boot on the front struts, if the struts are stock chances are your car has them.

wow thats a low milegae car dude good find :thumb: but yeah if your not impressed with the ride quality get some new shocks/struts cause alot of people shortcut things when they lower cars and just do springs. Idealy you would want to change the most you can when altering the stock position of your suspension

I see them on Summit's site for $169.95.
Suspension Techniques Front and Rear Drop Coil Spring Sets
Drop Springs, 1.0 in Front, 1.0 in. Rear, Ford, Mustang, Kit

Never heard of them though!

I have Eibach Pro-Kits on mine. Love them, but I bottom out a lot, too! It's mainly because of the roads in my cow town though! Not enough to go back to stock though!! They lowered my car about 1 1/4".

I have a bumpstop in my trunk! It's not for what I bought it for! It's for when you punch it, it keeps your ass end from hitting. I think, I forgot the wording my mechanic used!

Your car looks very good! Damn, that engine looks still brand new!

Suspension Techniques is good company they have been making springs and other suspension parts for long time. If i recall they started back in 1993 or 4. They also do make coil overs.

BUT LIKE THIS PERSON SAID: I bet your springs been "CUT" that's way too low for being 1" drop.

What color is the springs? The "OLD" version of the ST springs are gray color and "New" versions are green
