Finally bought a daily so the mustang can go to a "weekend cruiser". Nothing special, its a 08 Suzuki SX4. Has a comfortable ride and its good on gas, im happy with it.

I could say the same for your car. haha. j/k.

I made the same move a little more than a year ago. I bought a '10 Mazda 3. It really is a fun little car to drive around, but I am starting to miss driving a Mustang on a daily basis or just a performance car in general. Maybe I'll get one again when the lease runs out.

I did the same thing 3 years ago when i had the 98 5.4, but i bought a 96 V6 Mustang it gets 28+ MPG on highway trips. Can't talk myself into buying a different although a Acura TL 05+ was on the mind for some time for a Daily..

Now im thinking about it again because the G/F is driving it now and the black cars my daily :(

didn't buy it for fun.....bought it for reliable transportation with good gas mileage and comfortable ride. The mustang is the fun toy.

You never really struck me as an "econo" car kinda guy. Im just going by your trends on your mustang and i pictured you getting something, well.... BIGGER and faster for a DD.

I think it's a good little car. I know I only get to drive my car 5-6 months outa the year. I'd imagine when you get to drive your stang again, you probably love getting into the seat.

Stock v8 Mustangs can easily get 26-28 mpg on the hiway...our 04 Mach 1 does that every time...18-20 in town driving, what do the v-6's get in town? So with careful driving a v-8 is a pretty darned good economy car!

seriously, life's too short to drive a boring econobox, the difference in gas mileage does not make up for the cost of the other car.

I own 5 cars and they all have v8's :)

didnt want to spend alot of money for a dd and wanted something newer with factory warranty. Insurance is also a factor and with this its cheap. Its a good all around car thats a great daily commuter. No, its not fast but thats not what i was looking for. Like i said the mustang is the play toy, this is just a daily commuter. You can keep your so called "40 mpg" high maintenance bmw srt hands haha.
