And this time its official, they handed me the keys, took a picture shaking hands, did the schpeel, and let me leave with it. Some of you will call it a pig and some of it will like it, and if you don't like it, neato, but it kicks more ass then any of my fox chassis car's. Much better car to start off with, regardless of its weight. Just had to say that, because i've seen the hate that happens with these cars, but think what you will. Anywho, onto what i bought.

2006 mustang gt, black on black leather. It's a premium. 5 speed, has saleen wheels, blacked out windows, and a full magnapack catback (from the midpipe back, not just the normal mufflers). Other then that, she's bone stock, still has a warranty, and has only 18k miles on it. It drives, rides, and handles better then any of my fox chassis cars, regardless of how much I spent on panhard bars, H&R springs, she just has a much better feel with the 3 link stock. I'm getting into it for about 20k, i put 5k down, and have 2k left over from cars i've been selling. The 2's for backup money, might take 1k and pay it on the car, and the other and use it buy and sell some cars, pay it off faster :thumb:. For those wondering why i went off and did that, it came down quickly that I needed to do something soon about my daily driver car, the 98 just was sucking badly on gas, and needed help, ontop of me having the 95 that needed work as well. My parents are much happier with me picking this up then driving the 95. Soooo anywho, i pay about 290 a month, which isn't bad for me, i may close to 1k a month so I can do it. :) Last but not least, a picture. it's dirty as a mofo right now, but heres me and her, I'm callin it Duke :dunno:

I thought you were a "pushrod guy" now :dunno:

pushrod supporter. Modular's a good motor, just crap if it's a 2v. 3v/4v ftmfw

Awesome man. I have always liked the newer body style, I don't care what people say about them. Those Saleen's look sweet on there. :thumb:

Yeah right. I'd immediately go buy a good CAI, and a tuner. Those 05+ cars move out for cheap.

Very nice new ride. I'd have one sitting in the driveway if I could afford it.

Thanks :) hopefully it will stay for a long time. They seem like they can fill the need of a daily driver with some go, and still get some good mileage from all my friends experiences with them.

Oh dude most definately on the daily driver statement, i got 23MPG last week on mine and that was taking it easy in the city and interstate.

And yea i agree w/ you on the handleing it is a very nice ride and much higher quality than the other stangs in the past.

I am completely impressed with my new stang and i love it although im not going to mod it to hell and back like the cobra. Just going to do a shifter and i already got the axlebacks on so we finished with that. And tint is a must on a black car. :coolsmiley:

yep. well i'm plenty happy with it right now. Have other things to worry about financially and physically before modding begins :)

You can make those things roll with bolt ons believe it or not

MM&FF put a AUTOMATIC one in the 12s with simple boltons :boink:

calm down paul bunyon, you know what i meant :crazy2:

And yea, basic bolt ons and it will fly. Friend of mine got to the high 12's with his 06 with a gear, auto, bolt ons, and tuner. Pretty simple stuff. I'll be able to launch mine though, so for sure it will run quicker then his. I will definately say, this thing isn't scary fast, but it's freakin strong up top when you hit 4k+, she just keeps pulling. I have a tendency to run a car till it runs out of power, well this car keeps pulling to redline, and i'm sure farther if I could go, but i keep hitting the rev limiter. Everytime i do anything in it speed wise, i smack the limiter, and it feels like i stab a hole in the intake :hammer: I get these cars gone, and start rocking and rolling on flipping cars, plan is to be paid off in 2 years. I can do it, just gotta get everything done right now. Soon as it's paid off, i'll be heading to the bank, be looking at either FI or some serious bolt ons and suspension.
