bought some springs

i bought some eibach springs today from upr. they are the 4/6 cylinder springs that are on sale for $129.99. i know that they arent made for my gt but you cant go wrong with eibachs for that price, right?

too bad your handling will suck now because the I4/V6 springs rates are for holding up a lighter 4 cylinder or V6....they are gonna do a shitty Job of holding up that heavy V8.

...cancel your order and buy the right springs.

Do it right the first time and you wont have to do it again O0

As a fellow SN95forums member, i am trying to save you from death. Who knows, Getting the wrongs springs could lead to a failure...maybe causing you too loose your life.

Yup! He's right. Those springs are not MEANT for your car. They are meant for a lighter vehicle. Don't risk it.

I4/V6 springs get installed....Goes to take a right turn and all the weight from the front shifts on the springs and failure occurs. :noes:

well, if you JUST ordered it tonight then its still cool because they wont ship till tomorrow.... so you have 2 choices.

1. Call UPR and tell them you want to change your oder because a mistake was made in the ordering process.

2. There is a UPR representative on this site, PM him....But i would still just do Choice #1

UPR is alway's trying to push 4 cyl spring's for some reason?

I honestly doubt you'll notice the difference, we aren't all time attack guy's Handz, :hammer: . But it is suspicious that they keep trying to sell the 4cyl spring's to people.

Bad idea...Who is gonna buy V6/I4 springs when they can buy them from UPR as cheap as you did....UPR sells them so cheap because nobody mods V6 or I4 cars.

....Follow my advice and change your Order.

I Bet if you would have called Stangsuspension.com and asked Josh if they would have work, He would have advised you to purchese the right springs.

Think about it this way, If Eibach knew that the V6/I4 springs worked on V8s then they would just make 1 Springs set and save themselves tons of money in Manufacturing and R&D

Its not that i am Mr. Time Attack, it that i dont wanna see another SN95 member get hurt because He goes to take a turn and the Incorrect Springs cause The weight to Shift Improperly, which creates understeer and then he Crashes into the poor old lady on the sidewalk.
