All the aftermarket brand intake plenums are within 1-5 rwhp of eachother.
So pick your plenum based on looks and design not power because you will
not notice it.
When I had my Ford Mustang I had the Trickflow intake plenum with a 70mm
throttle body and my car ran great with it.The Trickflow plenum can be had
for around 100-120.The design and look is very tasteful in my opnion and I
would buy one again. If you are N/A stick with a 70mm throttle body because
if you go with a 75mm throttle body you could lose some lowend torque.
The only plenum and throttle body combo I highly subjest avoiding is the
Professional Products.Their products are bad quality and fit.Plus it
is made in China crap! :nonono:

i have the 75mm C&L plennum and the 75mm BBK Throttle Body and i didnt loose any low end torque or anything. i think the car responded exceptionally well to the 75mm combo, dont understand why people say dont get a 75mm one unless you are blown. i figure more air in is better, right?

i like the plain looks of the C&L plennum the best, which is why i got this one. had i known it wasnt CARB legal (stupid cali laws.... :tickedoff:) i wouldnt have gotten it, but instead gotten the trickflow one which is CARB legal.

yeah, a picture would be great. so would a 75mm TB trickflow plenum and pi intake on npi heads cams along with mac longtubes make a good noticable difference. its basically all gonna happen within 2 weeks. and the car has 4:10's flowmasters and cai now

The PI intake will make the most difference but adding the t/b and plenum+ LT's will be an even nicer difference. You'll probably pick up around 25-30rwhp :dunno:

I'm happy with the TF/70mm combo as well that goes well with the improved breathing of the pi cams and pi intake. IMO, anything is better than the stock upper plenum and smallish TB.

Anyway here's mine going in with the powercoating finish that cost a few dollars more over the bare metal version.

professional products, upr big mouth, trick flow are all the same design. ive read C&L and accufab are the best bet but $$. i personally use the pro products. only thing i dont like is the raw alunimum casting on the inside.

put a plastic bag over your cop, alt and air filter and clean away. make sure your engine is cool when you spray on water. i spray water, simple green, rinse, simple green and rinse again. *edit* after washed turn over the engine and let it idle for about 10 minutes to cook off the water in the intake valley. then engine dress up. and theyre 687967886 other threads on it. you wont mess anything up. dont be afraid. :welcome:

That's how I do it too, except I start it and let it run to boil it all off there with the hood cracked.

I belive the Accufab and C&L plenums aren't really worth the money vs. the power gains
since we are only talking a few rwhp difference.
In my experience I have seen people have bad luck with products from Professional Products.
Between the polished coating finish on the plenum slowing flaking away, raw aluminum casting
appearance on the inside of the plenum leaving alot to be desired, intake fitment issues,
and their throttle bodies sticking etc. I would never buy their products because they scream
of poor quality and cheap manufacturing. :nonono:
I had the Trickflow plenum with the black coating and never had a problem with the quality.
One of the things I really like about Trickflow is all their products are made in the U.S.A. :thumb:
