I guess I should do some kind of generic polishing write-up. I've had a couple guys pm me about the brakes and my intake.

I might work on something today and snap some pics of some of our equipment.

realitygt those were konig maxxim wheels (aka. maxxim wonder wheels, imported by konig) I thought they looked great but I already had a set of BBS wheels that I liked even more.

notfastenuf has already done a caliper polishing write-up but uses a dremel for a lot of it. I wouldn't use a dremel because of the small sanding discs/drums that are used. These can give you deep grooves or waves in the polished finish. I would also highly recommend removing the caliper. Place it in a vice or make up some type of jig to hold it and get comfortable for all the sanding work.

There's not exactly a wrong way to polish something though as long as you are happy with the end result. There are also a lot of "half-assed" polish jobs out there imo.

hehe i liked them, too! :thumb: but they totally mean i have to paint my calipers this summer!
