Hey topless95... with those heads you bought you are going to need atleast 1.6 ratio roller rockers other wise your car will not start
I found this out when I did my head swap with the same GT40x heads! Im not sure if you know that or not, but just incase so you
dont get a suprise once you knee deep in the swap

everyone throwing out cam suggestions hasn't even asked what the intentions are for the car. is this something thats going to be a hard core saturday night toy or just a fun daily driver?

if its the 1st I would just buy the piston cutting tool and notch those suckers. you can do it in the car if you clean up after yourself. if you have a die grinder you can buy a round stone bit and do it that way too. its not hard. run the biggest baddest cam you can.

otherwise i'd look into the 1087, which is now the lunati 51014(i think), thats a great all around cam

He did say he ordered GT40 X303 heads and an Edelbrock performer intake so I dont think its an all out track car.

I think you got lucky then, cause I asked FRPP and they said those heads need 1.6 ratio rockers, I tried starting my car with the
stockers and it wouldnt let the valves close so there wasnt any compression

where do they sell a tool like that?

http://www.lindytools.com/

then follow the drop down box to "in head piston cutters" i had one that was off the snap on truck but thats about the same. you set the depth w/ a set screw and just mock up the engine. you'll need a valve spring compressor too, the $9 black crow bar looking one from autozone works fine.
