hey guys i was wondering wat the stock cam in a 95 5.0...and how big of a diffrence will a e303 cam make

if your asking the lift i believe its .444 or .448 e cam lift is .498, as far as difference in power, depends what are your current mods??

If you really want to make a difference, get the cam paired with a set of heads and intake manifold. If you want to dig that deep, you should make it worth it. That way you know everything is good...Good Luck

with your mods an E cam is just going to make your car suck, hold off til you're ready to do the heads and intake manifold.

i am running a e cam and love it but i have smoe more top end work done as well. some cars like the e cam some dont.

Not to steal the thread, but if you have a gt40(explorer) intake and gt40 heads, would an e303 do good? Or TFS stage 1?

i dont even have gt40 heads i have ported e7's fromt tmoss. but i am running a edelbrock intake. a cam will depend on what rpm range you want as well

Im running a larger F cam which is more of a blower cam and is more top end, on a 306c.i with ported trickflow heads and intake and I like it, Wish I went with a n/a cam or custom but not bad makes good power and has alot of top end, power is strong from 3,000-6,000 rpms

to add to the discussion, my car with gt40y heads, cobra intake, 75mm MAF, 65mmTB,headers/h-pipe/exhaust and tune did 265rwhp325rwtorque
I just got a explorer/cobra crate motor and am thinking of using a comp cam xe270hr with all the hardware (retainer/lifters/springs....)
what kind of gain do you think i'll get for the $$$$$ putting a new cam will take
oh BTW this for my 1995GT 5.0
any real world experience?
800$ for what 20-40hsp??!!???!!! :confused1:
