Ok so I bought some springs this past week and I know most guys go with caster camber plates when they get lowering springs.....and those are about 200 for mm plates....I've been looking on suspension websites and you can get camber bolts too...and they're only 30 some bucks...how do these work better or worse than the plates?

I used them for 2 years, never once had a problem, never once one of the bolts broke oR fall off causing a HORRIFIC accident as you read on the internetz, the car was aligned once and it was fine until i decide to change springs to go lower, since the camber bolts only go as far as 1.7 degress i had to buy the CC plates.

said that, i will Use them again!

OK sweet....so I just bought some springs off Win and he said that they are identical to sportlines....which would be like a 1.75- 2 inch drop? Are bolts gunna work with those?

thats too far of a drop, youll need CC plates, sway bar end links, and maybe a bump steer kit (???)
Get cc plates

Alright I'll definately look into cc plates.....do I for sure need end links?

Another question, Is it a must to get new shocks and struts when you get springs?

if you are dropping more than 1.5", than yes, end links are highly recomended. (dont worry, they are only $20.00 off maximum motorsport's website.)

if your shocks/struts are matched up to your spring rates, than no.

Definitely get CC plates, for the record I was on sportlines and using the camber bolts.

FORD calls for 0.5 on the alignment on mustangs IIRC, The 0.3 that are gonna be off wont hurt you.
camber bolts are good for up to 1.7*

Not to derail this thread, but does anyone know the stock tire/fender gap on our cars? OP, would you mind measuring it quick? My car was lowered on unknown springs and i'd like to know to what degree my car's been lowered. Do I need end links etc. Sorrrry, please continue :)
