Doing a full suspension rebuild and dropping with Eibach Sportline springs ,1.7 drop I think . And I was looking for adjustment plates and saw camber bolts , Eibach sells them along with AM and 50resto . Anyone use them and can they be used instead of or with aftermarket caster camber plates ?

They are normally used instead of camber plates but not for big drops. They are usually used for 1-1.5". Anything above that and i'd recommend getting actual aftermarket cc plates just so you have full adjustability over your suspension.

However, I am curious as to if they can be used WITH cc plates as they allow you to run more camber and i'm looking to run some more on mine.
Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge can chime in.

i recently asked MM about this because i need more adjustment than the CC plate offer because of my drop. they said you're better off elongating the lower strut hole and rotating it that way, he said its a lot stronger since camber bolts are tiny.

if you don't have camber plates though get those instead of camber bolts for sure.

The bolts are cheap, easy and effective, unlike what ryan said, they arent llittle, they are the same basic size as the oe strut bolt...

My MM struts have elongated top holes on the strut ear... works the same way. My alignment guy said I had "kit bolts" whatever the hell that means. I can get a lot of camber either way though.

that's obviously impossible based on how they work, if you're going to get any sort of adjustment out of them you're probably looking at a bolt maybe what, half to 2/3 the size of the OEM ones.

The bolt works by having an off set washer on the end. when the bolt is turned the washer pushes and pulls the bolt to add to adjustment (in or out) or in the case of these particular ones, there is an ear on the shank of the actual bolt.

most camber bolts work with a cam lobe type part seen in the middle part of the bolt, and the only way that fits is because the bolt is smaller diameter. the other type may be certain application specific, never seen those used before.
