Well i was thinkin bout gettin cams for my car.......nuthin to extreme just a mild cam......anyone have suggestions??

download camquest from comp cam's website, that'll tell you the best cam for your setup, and give you what you want. If you want, you can call them too, that's what I did. they'll probably tell you to go with the xe268 or 274.

If you don't like any of those, crower cams works really well with their customers too, but i've never gotten anything from them so I can't tell you much about it

I have also heard good things about Crower cams, and how they are with their customers, my buddy has them in his camaro and hes pretty happy with them even though its a camaro :thumb: I think those are the ones that i might go with when i start looking for a nice mild cam

The stock PI cams that are in your 03 GT flow more than enough
and even work well with boost too.

i put the comp 268 in my car and i love it. wayy more in the top end.
i wanted the 270's but they're only for pi cars. so in your case i'd hit up the 270's and some gears.

im looking for more horsepower gains than anything..........so u guys r sayin that if i buy a set of cams that i would be wastin my money???? i plan to add a blower or nitrous

Of course. It'll give you more power. If you're doing FI, then PI cams are more than sufficient. Unless you want that added power, then no, it's not a waste. CMS blower cams :thumb:

with a blower and pi cams you will be will be able to exceed the engines power handling capabilitys

so pi cams are fine if you plan on getting a blower...if you staying n/a you might as well go with cams and ported heads

I suggest Crower as well, I've heard nothing but good feedback on them.
