I agree $900.00, you better not be getting iron gt40's. Hell I bought a set of trickflow twisted wedge off of ebay for $500.00. As far as cam goes the TFS 1, AND FORD RACING F303 is what I like. I have a f303 and it loves boost.

it has more exhaust than the TFS1...

STEEDA: 220/226 @.050 .480/.480 115 LSA

TFS 1: 221/225 @ .050 .499/.510 112 LSA

How does the steeda push more exhaust?

The duration on the exhaust is a single digit more..all that means is how long the exhaust is going to stay open.

Because duration is more important for airflow volume than lift is, either way you look at it you're splitting hairs. You're talking 3 one hundredths of an inch, but I'll take duration over lift any day. Besides I run my #19 with 1.7s so mine's running .510 lift anyways.

Budget calls for only 700 on heads now. Woman wants more money for her sh!t. I think I am settling on a Steeda... Or a custom grind.

I say either the tftw 1 or a motorsport f cam... i LOST, yes LOST about 15 hp by switching from an f cam to the steeda 19 with 1.7 roller rockers.... i had a set of x heads and an f cam in my old fox and it would knock down mid 12's all day.... also made 298 hp and 305 tq and my 95 with the same heads just a steeda 19 cam only made 260 hp and 295 tq and only runs 13.0.....

just my .02

ported heads and tftw 2 cam is in my near future....

I'm no expert but that doesn't exactly seem like a bulletproof comparison.

no its not bullet proof, but just giving the guy an idea of my setup and past experience...

personally my tuner and myself feels that my cam is what is holding me back from making much power.... i have seen similar setups but with different cams making much more hp then i am....

this is my experience take it as you wish...

I'd be interested to see what swapping JUST the cam in your car would do for ya. The F cam does have 6 more degrees of intake duration than the #19 but I guess it's all how it works in your setup.
