FYI oil on plugs and smoke is NORMALLY cyl finish and valve guide wear. sure you could have crappy cyl taper ( happens all the time) really loose bore to piston dimensions. (happens all the time) crappy end gaps on the rings ( happens all the time).
And I know your guy is the BEST THERE IS,,,, ohh grow up.
realty is stoked motors are normally fine , sure you can pull the skirt into the bottom past the cyl and get problems , but what we work with these days are all tried and true.
Gas mileage,,, get good data logs and tune out the problem,, Hell that's how the factory engineers do it.
Drivability ,, Remember fat is always easy to drive, does shit for your mileage BUT ???
My driver is 740HP and will get 17-21 mpg at 80 mph on cruse control turning 1840 rpm. do your homework.

Im glad your views align with most here and be welcomed. Also, the said member has an unbeknownst skillset at just about anything he touches. The man literally is a processing machine to some badass shit you would have thought wasnt possible. Ive seen it! He is very skilled and to boot, he has a killer mustang that he created with his skills.

no never a build posted a build. The description is in some old stuff . I have been refining my stuff ,, God I have broken everything, ..for years. just lost a head gasket last month, still analyzing why.
have built 3 other Mustangs ,,Fox, for other dreamers, 2 turbo and 1 supercharged. all parts breakers.
And I disagree that being silent while other malign the very culture . be it cars ,engineering tech, politics , national sovereignty, race color creed whatever!
If it is allowed to go uncontested because you are afraid you will lose,, you will lose.
If you are running this site because it make $$ for you and you don't care where it comes from. you are also the problem.

I live in what's left of the South. Every Fn yankee that lost jobs to the restructuring of our nations manufacturing base is down here on pensions and running for city counsel ,school board, you name it. And they bring there FAILED culture with them . Look at the great job they did with California, New York, Minnisota , ECT

Now that this has reached my attention, I’ll chime in. We have sections for everything and we allow political mudslinging, within reason. The absence of such is a repression of the first amendment and we are not an autocracy here.

We encourage healthy debate on Mustang topics but there is a fine line. No need to be a dick. That said, calm tf down. No more warnings mod team.

Before I did anything rash, I would perform a step by step diagnosis for bad gas mileage. You say it is smoking. Running too rich could cause all kinds of problems such as washing down the cylinder walls. Also, driving habits have a lot to do with gas mileage.

My 96 black mustang has no mufflers and exits into one single pipe under the car pointing towards the driver door. Making sure when I race, the opponent is on my left so that all my cars loudness throws his game off.
