DSS does NOT make good engines.
Stangbangin said:technically this was a viable question just sounded weird.
ScottyDsntKnow said:Go search DSS on the corral. You'll see just as many horror stories as success stories. The problem with DSS is they're hit or miss. They advertise the hell out of their shop and all the mags whore for them too so people think they're good without doing research alot of the time. DSS's thing is to crank out as many motors as possible in the shortest amount of time and quality control suffers.
Places like ADPerformance or Fordstrokers might cost more but you're getting a known quantity that'll be done right the first time and the customer service is second to none from both places.

The guy had a legit question so don't clown him. He was looking for clarification before he messed something up. NOT ridicule.
HIS QUESTION IS LEGIT.
Stock heads cannot be ran backwards to my knowledge....however, on pretty much any aftermarket head...they are universal, side to side. SO, there is no front or backside to a head.

You'd think being a veteran you'd be a little more compassionate for people who aren't quite as mechanically inclined - that's probably close to the majority who are here. You were a beginner at one point too, so try to keep this in mind before you respond with sarcastic and derogatory symbols to belittle others trying to gain knowledge and information. Hopefully, you veterans and some of the other moderators will be a little more considerate before you start to lose more people on this site.

Everyone's considerate. I didn't see anything belittling, sarcastic or derogatory about anyone's response. It just needed clarification.
Don't get your panties in a knot. I'm pretty sure this comment was over the top.
Unless you crazy m0ds go around tormenting people more often than I'm aware. :knuppel2: ;]

But as for the heads, as has been clarified above, it won't work. And you should def. look at getting a new guy to do your engine work. That guy's crazy.
