A guy from mywork is donating his son's focus because he blew the motor and fried some of the electrical. He had a viper 791xv installed in it not too long ago and said if I can take it out then I can have it!
Well I've never really installed any type of alarm before so i have no clue if this is something that is out of my league to do and leave it manageable to take it somewhere and have it installed.
The only stipulation is that the car has to still be able to crank when it gets picked up for donation. Are the wires just tapped into the preexisting wiring harness or are they cut and is a loop formed? Quick response would be greatly appreciated!
