Car hesitating then dying?

Didn't really know how to title this thread, but here it goes. When I'm in gear, and let off the gas, if my rpm's get around 2200 the car starts hesitating, and jumping around, then if the rpm's get down too low, the car eventually cuts off. Initially thought it was the IAC, so I replaced that, but still nothing..checked all my hoses for vacuum leaks, but nothing there either. Any leads guys?

check for a leak on the back side of the maf sensor, also is there any check engine lights on? does this ONLY do this after its already warm? or warming up?

ok i'll check the maf...but no it does it all the time, cold warm and everything in between and no check engine lights

i got a pretty bad exhaust leak, so i'm gonna tighten that up then go from there..still stumped guys

Fuel filter just went in the beater car.. Had the same problems...

First thought reading the title was IAC but if thats changed try the fuel filter. Mine started sputtering like a bitch and swapped the filter and all was peachy. Try the cheap things first
