hey sorry i haven't been around in ages been busy. ok the problem that i have is it sounds like my clutch is slipping. i might be wrong because it didn't do it untill i took alot of weight off my rearend (back seats and a bunch of crap out of the trunk) so i could be spinning the tires but it just sounds like the rpms are jumping up and not speeding up so i'l check later. so if my clutch is spinning what kinda whould yall say to get and from were? and what all do i need to get to replace it me and a buddy will probley be replacing it

You're right, you are probably spinning your tires. But if you want a new clutch, just get a King Cobra.

try giving it some gas in a higher gear 3rd or 4th if it does the same thing you are experiencing your clutch is probably slipping

yeah i just went and drove it but i can't go over 35 because there are to many cops around and it seems like the tires are spining some of the time but some of the time the rpm's are going up but not the speedo

yup thats your clutch. i just had mine replaced cuz it was slipping like crazy. i had to floor it just to get it moving but i noticed it when i would accelerate in a higher gear even on the highway youll notice it. have you ever done a burnout and watched the speedo it goes up but your not moving. to be on the safe side id get it looked at before making any decisions jsut incase

drive it in 4th gear, and at a cruising speed disengage the clutch while giving it gas, then engage it still flooring it. Do the RPMS keep rising but the car doesnt go any faster? thats a slipping clutch.
