car temp

so how does your car temp look driving it everyday in the warm weather? and getting on it sometimes..?

mine is running really hot and that is just normal driving..

any suggestions on what it might be?

70 tb
gt 40 upper +lower
full exhaust
1.7;1 rockers
pullies
smog delete
cai
and elbow
for the tb...

i put a 160 stat in mine, still run hot, when the car got dyno tuned, runs cool all day :coolsmiley:. never changed out rad or nothing else, got to get the fans to cut on earlier

do you have a stock temp gauge? if so there really is no acurate way of knowing. invest in some autometers and dont go by the dash junk. anyone on here will tell you the same

Wait, if you don't already have a "real gauge" then how do you know it's running 190-200???

210 is as hot as it gets right?

well it runs right above that... so i edumacated guessed....

No, 210 is normal operating temperature. So you based your temperature on the N O R M A L gauge? Hell, yesterday on the drive home (in Phoenix) the temperature outside was 113* and my car was running 218*.
