Catted or not catted

H pipe for my 95. Inspections are not a proublem. Will the uncatted sound deeper and give me more power?

No cats will be louder. Power difference is negligible or non-existant. I've actually seen back-to-back dynos where the mildly modified 5.0 lost torque without cats. Power was the same.

with that exhaust id go with a off-road H-pipe, you will love it.

Do you get a check engine light with no cats? Dont you have to plug in the sencors

Cars up to 95 will not throw a check engine light if you remove the cats.


As far as interior noise goes it's going to be up there with an offroad pipe.

I had my front 2 cats gutted with my rear 2 as straight pipes. I run IMCO racing mufflers dumped. I love how mine sounds!!!

i would go catted, i bought my x pipe with out cats, but this year im getting some cats put in, i got sick of always smelling like gas/exhaust,

Its going to be quite a bit louder w/ out cats. I had to put a catted pipe on mine b/c it was just way to loud. Plus it sounds better now then it did before.

Gonna have to add some cats to my setup as well. Dr. Gas O/R X with Pypes SS Violator catback. It's crazy loud. Who makes slim/small high flow cats?

I never dive around w/ my windows up anyway. If Im driving the Cobra then its nice out and Im not sure of how the interior noise is on mine b/c its not to frequent that I have the windows up anyway.

I drive mine top down & windows down. Even when I ran my side exit exhaust, no probs with fumes. We drive Mustangs, not Focuses. Supposed to be loud!! Y'all kinda suck, no offense.
